Here we have an elegant antique style double door corner cabinet. This wonderful piece was made in the US sometime in the last 10 years. It combines the classic features of Georgian period furniture into a beautiful cabinet fit to function in todays more modern home. Made with display in mind, the top section features two large glass doors behind arched fretwork. Behind the spring latched doors are two removable glass shelves. This upper section is perfect for the display of everything from china to books or pictures. Additionally, both the glass shelves and the bottom of this section have plate grooves along the back walls. Below is a pair of doors made from exotic and beautiful flame mahogany wood. Satinwood banding and mahogany cross band accent the borders of the doors. A fixed wooden shelf resides in the lower cabinet. Also, the upper cabinet contains a working light. You will notice at the very top is a lovely broken arch pediment. This is a lovely feature that really sets the top of the cabinet off.
A solid base makes a sturdy bottom and prevents things from rolling underneath never to be seen again. These features and the classic look of mahogany wood make this double door corner cabinet a true beauty. This corner cabinet is in excellent condition. One tiny finial piece is missing from the arched molding at the top.
