The lower cabinet includes additional carvings of folk people enjoying everyday life. Nice clean cabinet dating from 1920's. DIMENSIONS: Width: 48 Inches Height: 96 Inches Depth: 21 Inches. The style is Bruegel, Belgium made and the higher end quality of this style. In oak and the best I can determine was built during the 1920 thru 40's. A little history, the design and name was inspired by the works of Peter Bruegel, Pieter the Elder Bruegel c. Pieter the Elder's art reflected peasant life and religious works which was later used for inspiration on furniture during the 1920's-1940's.
